Applications involving linear motion often place high demands on the motion profile. Our new LM3S.. series electric cylinders are particularly well-suited for linear motion with high accelerations and speeds—ideal for applications with demanding motion profiles and high precision. The LM3S.. series is gradually replacing our successful CMS.. series and, as the third generation of electric cylinders, builds on our experience in this field.

Using adapters, the linear unit can be combined with the entire CM3.. motor modular system as well as our CMP.. series synchronous servomotors. Thanks to the flexible adapter concept and the open motor interface, servomotors from a wide variety of manufacturers can also be easily integrated. The system can be scaled to a force range of up to 26 kN.

The LM3S.. series electric cylinders can be combined with the CMP.. series servomotors as well as the CM3.. modular motor system. New mounting options for the LM3S71 expand the available performance classes. In addition, interfaces for mounting motors from any manufacturer are available for all LM3S.. sizes. This enables flexible adaptation to a wide variety of application requirements.
