All about the application

1. By submitting an application to the careers website at www.career.SEW.com you are declaring your interest in potential employment at SEW India Private Limited(henceforth “SEW”) or at a company directly or indirectly related to SEW (referred to in the following as the "SEW group"). This careers website and the application portal are operated by

By accepting the data privacy statement of SEW in the application, you hereby gives your concent that SEW may save and process your data for the purpose of job application, staffing & employment.

SEW assumes that you possess legal age required to undertake the employment.

2. The personal data that you submit on the applicant portal is collected, processed, and used by SEW worldwide for the purposes of processing job applications and recruiting. Only employees authorized by SEW are permitted access to your data. If a suitable position is found within the SEW group, your data is forwarded to the responsible employees in the HR departments, the works council, and managers in the relevant departments. The department managers and HR employees may belong to different companies in the SEW group. Your data may therefore be exchanged globally within the SEW group. At no point will SEW make your data available to third parties, unless SEW is obligated to pass the data to state institutions or authorities due to mandatory legislation or unless SEW has your express written consent.

By submitting your application via SEW applicant portal, you are accepts that you may be contacted for HR marketing purposes. You may be contacted by email, post, or telephone.

You are authorized to revoke your consent for the use of your personal data or to withdraw your application at any time. To do so, please notify us via email to jobs@seweurodriveindia.com.

3. You bear the sole responsibility for all content that you enter in the SEW applicant portal, for example, for texts, photos, graphics, links, etc. You are obligated to ensure that any trademark rights, copyright, personal rights, or other rights of third parties are not violated.

You are further obligated to protect your access to the SEW applicant portal against unauthorized access by third parties and to keep your password secret. You shall indemnify SEW of all damages incurred by SEW due to unauthorized use of your access to the applicant portal or other related harmful actions by yourself or a third party for which you are at fault.

SEW implements both technical and organizational security measures in order to protect your data against manipulation, loss, destruction, or unauthorized access. Your data is transmitted in encrypted form in order to prevent misuse of your data by third parties.
